Club Chairman's Corner 2012
Thank you so much for electing me as your Chairman for another year. I am both honoured and happy to accept the role in leading the club forward to another success year.
Our past year could not have been so successful without the help of a great committee where we have a wealth of different skills, experience and such a great team spirit. We all owe them our sincere thanks.
We have continued to heavily invest in the clubs upkeep and ambiance. Our development plan will ensure we continue with new projects to further enhance the club.
2011 was a challenging year and I am confident our committee will rise to the fore to deliver another successful year in 2012.
The club offers the best facilities in Ferndown and we offer you a very warm welcome.
We welcome all prospective members, you do not have to be serving in the armed forces to become a new member of our club so do please contact us for more information.
We have undertaken a number of improvements including the refurbishment of the hall, lounge bar and furniture, carpets, interior decoration, exterior appearance, new covered area for smokers, new caterers, increased membership, improved heating system, new darts area, recovered the snooker tables and undertaken electrical and other works and of course this website which will continually developed over the coming months - well done and thank you to all who have made this happen. With your support we continue to move forward.
There are further plans to develop better facilities for you which we will roll out over the coming months.
For those past members who have not visited us for a time we encourage and invite you to view the changes in both atmosphere, membership and the surroundings.
You will be most surprised and welcome.

Calling all Snooker players
Two superb tables availalble
The Royal British Legion Club (Ferndown) Ltd website includes provision for you to book our hall with stage and rooms for various events including entertainment, private parties, dance, sport, formal, social or bingo days or evenings with a varity of room layouts.
These offer great value and are competitively tariffed to provide quality services at affordable prices.
Our very large car park is free to users of our club or facilites.
We are close to Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood and Wimborne areas and within very easy access to the main routes.
You do not have to be ex military or a member to book these facilites.

Hall & Room hire
Available
for a variety of sized parties for parties, anniversaries, birthdays,
weddings, funeral wakes, special occasions and dance or other sporting
activities with use of a separate bar if required.

Restaurant
Daily lunches are provided every day throughout the week (except Mondays) 12pm - 2pm at very reasonable rates.
Great Sunday Roasts - why not come and see us.
